Staycations... highly underrated.

We are huge fans of vacations over here. In fact, I am pretty sure almost every weekend of our first year of marriage was spent road-tripping to a new city! We used to joke and say that we were traveling the world one weekend at a time and oh, how I wish we could go back to those days because seriously, some of my most favorite (and delicious) memories have come from those little road trips.... #roadtripsnacks.

We have always said that having kids wouldn't change our love to travel- and it hasn't! But, with being so close to meeting our little guy we decided to enjoy our city and make the most of a staycation instead of traveling far away! And, gosh, I am so glad we did!

To celebrate Lee's week off of work we enjoyed many delicious breakfasts, visits to the park, pool trips, crossing to-do's off our long, long, very long list and most of all just enjoying being a family of 3 for a bit longer! I desperately wish that we were still on vacation but for now, I'll just look at pictures and remember all the fun we had!
